Nominations of MJF – GLOBAL JAZZ
Individual improvisers (not bands) are invited to participate in the competition.
In each nomination, five applicants will go to the finals.
Each competition day, participants draw lots and are gathered in completely new ensembles.
Yesterday’s competitors may end up in the same boat tomorrow.
The laureate will be the one who simultaneously demonstrates both the vivid personality of a jazz
improviser, competitiveness, and the ability to "dissolve" in an ensemble, allowing his partners to "open
up" as much as possible.
