Dmitry Mospan is one of the most demanded and virtuoso saxophonists in Russia, a composer, arranger and teacher (at the State Classical Academy of Maimonides), the winner of the Russian TV project “The Big Jazz” on the VGTRK channel “Culture”. At the moment Dmitry Mospan is performing at the top concert venues in Russia and is taking part in the most prestigious festivals: from Moscow International House of Music to Carnegie Hall in New York. During the 20 years of his music career, Dmitry had a chance to work with many well-known Russian musicians, such as Igor Butman, Herman Lukianov, Alex Sipiagin, Georgy Garanian, Valery Ponomarev, Nick Levinovsky, Andrey Makarevich, Larisa Dolina, Vadim Eilenkrig, Vitaly Golovnev, Yakov Okun, Ivan Farmakovsky and many others… Dmitry also repeatedly performed with the world jazz stars: Wynton Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Joe Lovano, Bill Evans, Richie Cole, Mark Soskin (Sex and the City), Eddie Henderson, Ugonna Okegwo, Gene Jackson, Donald Edwards, Kevin Mahogany, Allan Harris, Jenn Parker, Irvin Mayfield, Herlin Riley, Freddie Hendrix, Mike LeDonne, Ben Wolfe, David Gibson, Carl Allen, Denis King and others. He took part in many international jazz festivals, such as «Santa Barbara International Jazz Festival», «Umbria Jazz Festival», «Jazz a Juan», «Wigan Jazz Festival», «The Triumph of Jazz», «Jazz in the Hermitage Garden», «Usadba Jazz», «Aquajazz. Sochi Jazz Festival», «World Jazz Festival», «Koktebel Jazz Party», «Skolkovo JAZZ», «Delta Jazz», «Jazz over the Volga River», «Jazz Province» and so on.
