Ivan Borisov is the jazz guitarist and arranger, the winner of numerous jazz contests in Belarus and abroad, the leader of the"Ivandajazz" band. His repertoire includes both original tracks and classic jazz standards in contemporary style (pop, jazz, fusion, swing, bossa, etc). Ivan Borisov also gives lessons in music schools in Minsk, Moscow and Saint Petersburg.1986-89 - studying at Music College in Molodechno, Belarus (classic guitar). In 1990 he enters Moscow RAM Gnesin where he studies jazz guitar. During his studies he took part in numerous concerts, festivals and shows, became the winner of the guitarists' contest in Mogiljov. Since 1990 he plays in clubs and restaurants in Minsk: Belaja Veja, Juravinka, Graffiti, etc. Since 1991 he takes part in music tours around Belarus and abroad, visiting Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Bohn, Munich, playing together with famous musicians (Zbignew Nemyslowski, David Goloschekin, German Luk'yanov, Oleg Kireev, Andrej Tovmasyan, Irina Tamaeva). In 2000-2001 he played at Belarusian State Orchestra under Michail Finberg. Since 2004 he plays in Moscow clubs: B-2, JVL, The Club in the Brestskaja, Le-Club in various shows: duet, trio, quartet, band. He is the participant of jazz festivals: Jazz on the river Dnepr (Dnepropetrovsk, 1987-89), Vitebsk Autumn 1987, Jazz Cheboksary 1988, Jazz on the river Volga, Belye Nochi in Saint Petersburg, Moscow youth jazz festival in 2006, Jazz on the river Moskva in 2007, Slavyanskij Bazar 2009. In 2011 he participated at the first Belarusian regional IT conference with other famous players. Now Ivan Borisov promotes his own project - Ivandajazz band. He also creates original music, makes music arrangements in modern styles (pop, jazz, fusion, swing, bossa, etc), gives guitar master classes. The Ivandajazz band is a quartet creating their own music and also playing classic jazz tracks in modern version. The band plays indifferent styles: fusion, jazz-rock, bossa, latino, mainstream, modal jazz. The repertoire of the band counts about 500 tracks of various styles.
