Jacopo Mezzanotti is an Italian guitar player living in the Netherlands.
He grew up in a small village in Italy and he started his studies at "Centro musicale Il Barco" in Urbania (Italy), where he was also teaching for a few years before moving to The Netherlands to complete his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag.
In 2012 he participated with his own composition at the YouMe project, playing at the Warsaw jazz festival, at "Casa del Jazz" in Rome with Ramberto Ciammarughi and in The Hague for "Together Now Festival '12" in the Anton Philipzaal Theatre.
His main style is jazz/fusion and he performs with his bands around Europe.
He won the third prize at the "Jimmy Woode International Jazz Award" 2013 with his trio: Joe Midnights Space Trio.
